Kracklin serves a variety of gourmet fresh roast meat sandwiches daily, using only the finest local produce & ingredients. Located in the heart of Newcastle, these are definitely sandwiches to savour.
We have a lovely, recently refurbished dining area and a full bar menu so it's the ideal spot for a long lunch and chat with friends. And if you can't get down for lunchtime, we're open late on Fridays and Saturdays to help you make the most of your weekends.
Why 'Kracklin'? This refers to the crunchy pork crackling that we serve with our signature Porchetta sandwiches - try it once and you'll never go back to the bar snack version.

There's nothing quite as authentically British as salt beef. Enjoyed in the UK since Tudor times, the traditional method sees beef soaked in salty brine. While times have changed, this cured meat specialty is as popular as ever with barrels full of flavour.
Hensons have been making salt beef in London since 1895. Today they use prime grass-fed brisket and a low-salt cure. The result is a tasty tender pink meat - perfect for our classic Reuben on Rye.
